Super Mario Bros 5

Overview:
An old platformer I made back in the day. Quite terrible compared to my later projects, but this one game holds a special place in my heart. SMB5 was my first major project. Up until now my games were only 10-15 levels long and didn't have much in the way of different environments or extras. SMB5 featured 7 diffrent worlds loosely based off of the 8 worlds of SMB3 (excluding Dark World) and a final stage taking place in the sky. Each world had 5 levels and a boss for a grand total of 35 levels and 7 bosses. Nearly 40 levels and 10 bosses with the final world accounted for.

Super Mario Bros 5 is named 5 because I had seen so many SMB4s at the time and I like 5 better anyway. A few things I liked about this game was the assortment of enemies (far more than any of my games until then) and a working pipe engine (which though not all that complex I thought it was quite neat at the time).

Though SMB5 has not stood the test of time, it still remains an old favorite of mine. I also ask that you ignore the green bg over some of the sprites. This problem is a result of newer computers picking up on the small changes in shade in some of the sprite BGs. I still to this day don't know how those got there.
